MY STORY
My name is Angela DePalma. I’m the founder and lead trainer at Sit, Stay, Thrive and dog mom to Julius and Solo, two very well behaved rescue pups and a foster named Rex who assist me in training videos. We live in the western suburbs of Chicago where it’s been said that I’ve trained “most of the dogs in Park Ridge”.
I believe in developing a mutual understanding between you and your dog, and I’m here to help make that happen. Your pup’s health and well-being is something I take as seriously as humanly possible! Our integrative approach reflects my belief that training, nurturing, and providing enrichment are all part of a healthy existence. That’s why our tagline is Behavior for Life
My credentials include: CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA, AKC CGC Evaluator, Professional Level Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and certification in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University (yes, there IS such a thing)!

Accommodating Your Lifestyle
In-home training is a premium service we offer to select clients. Sit, stay, we’ll come to you! These sessions are one hour and will address any and all behavioral issues you may be having. Nipping, jumping, potty training issues? We’ve got it covered! Chicagoland area only.
BOARDING SCHOOL
Home Away from Home
This elite service is available for pre-approved clients that may need a place for their pup to rest their head while they’re on vacation. This exclusive package includes boarding in our home with access to our doggie treadmill, enrichment activities, and a training plan customized to your pup.
